Kostis Georgiou graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts and continued with his studies at the London Royal College of fine Arts (RCA). From 1982-87, he worked as stage designer in theatre and for the Greek television (ERT). He is a painter and a sculptor with international activity and he has participated in very important exhibitions held at various Greek and foreign museums and galleries. He has been awarded many times. His works may be found in various museums and prestigious private collections. His work is accompanied by a huge bibliography containing texts written by known Greek and foreign art critics.

He has presented his work in over 70 solo exhibitions (KOUROS GALLERY- New York, NIEDERHAUSER GALLERY- Lausanne, ALLA ROGERS GALLERY- Washington, CARTEL GALLERY- Granada- Malaga, COVALENCO GALLERY - Nederland, ARCO 97- Madrid, BARBARA VON STECHOW GALLERY -Frankfurt, K GALLERY - London, CATRIN ALTING GALLERY - Anvers, TITANIUM YIAYIANNOS GALLERY - Athens, IRMOS GALLERY - Thessalonica, TOKYO ART EXPO 92, CIEL GALLERY - Tokyo etc).
